LittleLogic is designed for families. We collect the minimum data necessary to make the app work, we never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers. Your child's questions stay private.
1. Who we are
LittleLogic is a mobile application that helps parents answer children's questions with age-appropriate explanations. The app was created and is operated by Clay & Co. You can contact us at support@little-logic.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address. Anonymous users have no personal identifiers stored.
- App settings: Your child's name (if you enter one) and age, stored to personalise answers. This data is yours and never shared.
- Question history: Questions you ask and the answers generated are stored in your account so you can review them later. You can delete these at any time.
- Funny quotes: Any quotes you save in the app are stored in your account.
- Usage data: We store a count of how many questions you've asked this week to enforce the free credit limit. No question content is used for this.
- Device identifier: On Android, we store a device-level identifier (not linked to your personal identity) to prevent free credit abuse across app reinstalls.
- Purchase data: If you purchase Pro or credit top-ups, purchase events are processed through Google Play / Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.
3. How we use your data
- To answer your child's questions using AI (your question is sent to our secure cloud function and processed by an AI language model)
- To save your question history and quotes so you can access them later
- To manage your credit balance and subscription status
- To send transactional emails if you have an account (e.g. password reset)
We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Children's privacy
LittleLogic is used by parents on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children directly. The app is operated by the parent or guardian, and any data stored (such as a child's name or age) is entered by the adult user.
We strongly recommend parents do not enter their child's full name, school, or other identifying information into the app.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), which is hosted in the EU. Firebase is SOC 2 compliant and uses encryption in transit and at rest. We apply strict security rules so that each user can only access their own data.
6. Third-party services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and cloud functions. Privacy policy.
- OpenRouter / AI providers: Your questions are sent to an AI language model via OpenRouter to generate answers. Questions are not stored by these services beyond the duration of the request.
- RevenueCat: In-app purchase management. Privacy policy.
- Google Play / Apple App Store: For app distribution and payments.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data we hold about you
- Delete your account and all associated data (see our account deletion page)
- Export your question history
- Correct any inaccurate data

8. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Anonymous accounts with no activity for 12 months are automatically deleted. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. The latest version is always available at this URL.
